Jussi Halla-aho was a popular candidate of True Finns in the general election in April, only shadowed by Timo Soini. Halla-aho was then given the chair of Finnish Parliament’s Administration Committee. The issues handled by the committee include immigration, policy, gun and municipality policies. The populist True Finns party lead by Timo Soini made history on Sunday by gaining 34 seats in the Finnish parliamentary election.
