The problem is that no one is talking about Halla-aho’s arguments in a rational and dispassionate way – he might be wrong about everything but at this rate we will never find out.

It just seems that the media, slow-news-day included, is attempting to avoid all the difficult questions by concentrating solely on people and their ideologies. Everything that seems too complicated or technical (such as the issues of the gun law) is either ignored or simplified to death (should the gun law be more strict yes/no). There’s of course nothing wrong in writing these less demanding stories. We all like to read about nazi sympathies of the evil doctor once in a while!

By the way, Halla-aho and his supporters shouldn’t mind the referring of his writings the way done in slow-news-day.net. It’s what he does too – like today!

There’s really no need to dig up several year old writings as Halla-aho has kindly provided us with very detailed articles on both subjects. These can be very conveniently found from halla-aho.com/index.php/vaaliteemat/.

Plenty of pieces have already been published in the net and in the papers about Halla-aho’s person and mindset. Even a book has been written about this guy! Niemelä does indeed go a long way into details in his argument against Halla-aho. However, seems like he too is attacking the man and not the issues he has raised. Which one is more important, the blogger or the arguments presented in the blog?

Even a very moderate criticism is a negative thing for these people because they try to maintain full control of all aspects of their popular image, even though that is impossible and they have largely lost that control. Their thinking and actions both reek of facism in more ways than one.
